I graduated from Old Dominion University with a B.S. in Physics and a minor in math. I have been interested in physics since I was a child, wanting to learn how roller coasters worked. I have worked as a physics tutor at my university, and I am also capable of tutoring students in algebra, calculus, trigonometry, chemistry, astronomy, and physical science. I am eager to use my educational background to help inquiring minds develop a deeper understanding, as well as an appreciation, of physics.When I am outside of the classroom, I like to stay active through golf, riding my mountain bike, and hiking. I also like reading, learning about history, and problem solving. I especially love card games because they give me the opportunity to problem solve and calculate odds.
